Hello guys
This is my first post in this great forum. I have a Laptop Dell Inspiron 1420 and I want to install the remaster version of Ubuntu 9.04. I want a dual boot.
As you probably might know, the hardisk in Dell laptops is divided in 4 parts.
[ fat 100mg] - [D:recovery 10gb] - [C:Os 220gb]-[mediadirect 3gb] partition scheme.
I want to install at D:recovery part. But during the install Ubuntu requires a swap space. I have 3 gb memory. Can I proceed without swap partition? I simply don't want 5 partitions in 250 gb space.
Is my approach correct? What would you suggest me please for my laptop.
Thanks in advance
