Hello Ubuntu,

New Comer to UBUNTU,

I have installed Opera web browser, but I can't see it, so that I can use it.
where is it placed? also you can tell me,..where the install software are place.

Any help is appreciated

Hi, and welcome to the forums. If you installed the deb package you should see it listed under Applications>Internet>Opera, if its not there then open "Main Menu" (System>Pref>Main Menu) and highlight "Internet" on the left and in the right pane make sure "Opera" is ticked.

you can also open a terminal and run the command
opera
