Hi Guys,
I've installed Ubuntu Server on a machine, only to be told after that there were files on the hard disk I used which were required. I know, Should have checked etc. but I was told it was ok to go ahead.
I think there was fedora on the disk before, and I did a quick format of the drive during install of Ubuntu Server 8.10 rather than the full format. The files to be recovered are Word and PDF files.
Can anyone give me any tips on what to do to try and recover the files?
Thanks.
