I recently installed Ubuntu inside windows XP. The installation went smoothly. I got to put in my username and password. However, after this, I get a beige colored blank screen. I can move my mouse but it just stays on that beige colored screen. I have restarted the computer and booted ubuntu couple times now, with the same result. Suggestions anybody?
