Conky Instal

Hello;

I am new to Ubuntu (9.04 to be exact), although I did get some looks at RedHat 2 employments ago.

I am having trouble installing Conky. I have more time in using terminal, but apparently not enough. For some reason, I cannot get access to the root, even though I am the only user an this laptop.

By the way, this Jaunty version is great.

sudo apt-get install conky

Super User DO -- instead of a root account, ubuntu does things like that.

make sense? :D
