View Full Version : [ubuntu] VLC won't play video files, only vlc-nox plainy in terminal

Hi,
I upgraded my ubuntu os to 9.04 but it won't play any video fiels. I have installed vlc-nox, when I try to install vlc using
sudo apt-get isntall vlc it gives the following error message:

Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
vlc: Depends: libcucul0 (>= 0.99.beta13b-1) but it is not going to be installed
E: Broken packages.
