I love Microblogging, and I really love Free Software. So, when you add the two together, whaddya get?

identi.ca, a great service for anyone interested in the FOSS community. Follow developers on their latest advancements, briefly discuss politics. It's basically Twitter for smart people.

So out of curiosity, who all has an account?

Remember Jaiku is now open source too. I personally think the web interface is slicker than identi.ca. Unfortunate Google dropped support (and open sourced) due to lack of interest in it as a twitter alternative.

I don't really do the whole online community, except here on this forum. Perhaps I should look around at some of the Groups on identi.ca...

Nevertheless, I decided to use identi.ca to keep people appraised of my progress with a Creative Commons licensed educational site:
