Today I installed ubuntu 9.04 with Windows XP. After installed does not work sudo apt-get intall xxxxx anything, also cannot upgrade. Before it was good installed and I was configuring My FX5200 graphic card. Why does not work apt-get, hardware drives, synaptic after install?

Hi, are you getting any errors from apt? What are the output's to

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade
