I use to be duel booting Vista and Ubuntu. But for some reason ubuntu had a problem so i went on vista and uninstalled it and then reinstalled it, But when i went back it came up with this command prompt screen. Then when i uninstalled ubuntu i restarted to check if the ubuntu selection was still avaliable at startup, and it was. So i think i might be uninstalling it wrong.

wubi isnt very good for what ive experiances it with

boot into the live cd and when you install partition the drive

its alot more reliable and faster

wubu runs on a virtual filesystem while partitions runs on ext

ok you said you installed ubuntu from inside windows right

wubi is what you use to install ubuntu inside windows with :)

sorry for my lack of detail

go to ubuntu website and download the cd and burn it

boot into it

and click on install

then when it comes to how to install partition your hard drive and then your good to go !
