I'm currently running Kubuntu 9.04 and I wanted to try playing around with building a custom kernel so I figured I'd start off with downloading 2.6.30.1 and build that. When I did a uname -r on my system it returned 2.6.28-13-generic. When I looked on kernel.org though there is no such thing as 2.6.28.13, it only goes up to 2.6.28.10. Does ubunutu use some sort of custom kernel or what?
