hi

I'm using Gnome and every time after restart ALL desktop icons are on the left site.
I can place these icons how I want, after restart my Ubuntu lost these settings.
Howto freeze all icons on the Gnome desktop so they cannot change their position?

I mean NOT top panel icons, I mean main desktop icons.

my mistake, but my desktop icons (right and left) stay put. i have backup so i would probably take a chance and reload my desktop. however if this is 9.04 your running, my 8.04 ideas may be of little help...
