wanting some help with some program installs, and updating to 9.04

I am running 8.04 currently, and wish to update. I like being jaunty. :)

also, needing some help with installing qbittorrent if possible.


sorry, bit more info: I don't have any idea what I'm doing. I'm a relative noob at the whole linux thing. Started earlier this year. Thanks!

For updating to 9.04 go Systems > Administration > Update Manager and click Upgrade (guessing you have to go 8.10 first, then 9.04)

Never used qbittorrent!

Hi, qbittorrent is in the jaunty repo after you have upgraded you can either search Synaptic (System>Admin>Synaptic Package Manager) for 'qbittorrent' and install or you can install it from the terminal (Applications>Accessories>Terminal) with

sudo apt-get install qbittorrent
