I upgraded from 8.10 to 9.04. Now with User A logged on, if I logon as User B, I am greeted with a white screen of death. The only way to get out is to do a power-on reboot. Otherwise, everything works great.

I'd hate to lose my setup by doing a re-install. Is there a better, simpler fix?

does it only affect user B logging in?

does it affect a test user created just for the purpose of testing a new user account?

we need to identify patterns :D

!-- @page { margin: 0.79in } P { margin-bottom: 0.08in } -->
Tried two tests:

I was the only user logged in.
I created a new user account.
I logged out of my account.
I logged in as the new user.
I then switched over directly to my account.
Never got there. Just the white screen of death ... :o)

Then after hard power reset .....

Logged into my account.
Direct switched to the new account successfully.

So it appears the problem is limited to directly logging into MY account from another active user account.

Hope this helps.
