updated to newest version problems

Hi my xubuntu was working great then I decided to upgrade to newest version it went thru the process fine until restart then my computer froze at the startup screen and won't do anything else can somebody help:confused:

It would help if you could provide lots more details, e.g. system specs, version, did you upgrade or install the new version.

p2 233, updated thru xubuntu via dsl I think it was version 3. something
