hello friends,
i am using ubuntu for more than 2 yrs now and i have tried various development models.
some time back i got a notebook compaq6520s and tried installing ubuntu 8.04 on it and it ran just perfect.
but later when tried installing 8.10 and 9.04 it just wont get installed. i am facing this problem in both the version and in both types of installation process i.e. by wubi as well as direct installation.
the installation gets completed to 100% but the the notebook hangs as soon as it gives command to divert to the login page.....plz help!
