I'm working with 9.04 now and noticed some Annoyances with selecting text in a shell and using the cursors within vi. I'm pretty sure both off them can be solved by tweaking.... something....

So the question is: Is it possible to adjust the amount of text that is selected by clicking the mouse on it, i.o.w. is it possible to "teach" the shell were to cut a piece of text.
example: Clicking on world within an email address hello@helloworld.now will select all of it but I want to select only the helloworld.now part. so it should cut it at the @

The second question is when working with VI. When entering in "insert mode" the cursors (not the numeric ones) produce A, B, C and D. How can this be changed?
