hi.i have an acer extensa 4220 2ghz, 512 MB, 80 GB HDD.i am wondering if with these specs i can run the compizfusion effects.i am not able to enable desktop effects under the appearance menu in ubuntu.i am running ubuntu jaunty.thanks

did you ever get compiz working?compiz check will do a blacklist check skip it for now.
