In my Update Manager I have had Gstreamer0.10-plugins bad listed for quite some time. I cannot check it to get the update and neither can I remove it!
How could I remove it using a GUI or from the command line? Or even better how can I get it unlocked so I can choose to download it or not?

system -> administration -> synaptic package manager

search for it, find it, and decide what you want to do with it :D

@ Earthpigg. Thanks for that. Didn't know it was that easy. It had a little star on it in Synaptic Package Manager. I checked it for an upgrade and applied the upgrade. That worked. All is peachy now. Thanks!
