wubi install

A friend of mine would like to try ubuntu for the first time using the wubi install procedure. I was wondering which os i should giv them to use via wubi, below is what i have

8.04 hardy heron
8.10 ubuntu
9.4 ubuntu

is the wubi on each cd work the same, just install in windows.

I'd say the newest one unless you have a good reason for not doing so. as far the as the WUBI installer, it does get updated, how often I dont know, I know theres a sticky post here with a new RC.
