Hi

I've got a mate whos having a problem way out of my knowledge-zone and I wondered is there anywhere he can go to get like 5mins of proper ubuntu technical support without having to buy commercial business-class support?

Kind regards

Dave Rich

he's a bit stuck as he can't get online,

his ubuntu box has a problem (I suspect a power supply to be the culprit) which has messed with his grub. I've tried talking him through various things over the phone but it's just not playing ball.

He really needs a phone line to call and just talk him through it.

I've told him to get a new power supply first 'cos this is the 2nd hard drive that has done this within months.

Kind regards
