Hello all,

Flash player can be installed in any version of ubuntu. If your installer(synaptic or Add/Remove) cannot install flash on ubuntu,it's because path have changed so go on for manual install.

Here is the step by step tutorial for it.I have written in such a way that even naive user(i believe) can follow the instruction easily.

This is the direct link

adobe-flashplugin is in canonical's partner repository. Anyone running i386 ubuntu should be able to simply enable the partner repo (e.g. for jaunty, add 'deb http://archive.canonical.com/ubuntu jaunty partner' to /etc/apt/source.list) and install the package. This should cover the majority of users.

Your tutorial should be helpful for users on other architectures, though.
