Please bear with me, I am new to Ubuntu (linux in general).

I have DL'd and installed the Netbook Remix on a USB drive. It comes up with the language selection, then the menu: test ubuntu, install, test hdd etc..

I wish to install this ubuntu onto my USB, as using the test environment I cannot save any settings (so cant really use it as an OS).

I do not wish to install it on the HDD as this is a work provided netbook.

I have searched the forum, but I may have missed the information, so feel free to slap me if necessary.

Thanks

I do the same thing for the same reason. See my post over here (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1193680). You'll need two USB drives, one to boot, the other to install to.
