So I installed ubuntu on a computer but when I try to load it I get GRUB error 18. I looked around for how to fix this problem, but nothing I found helped me.
I am installing it as the only operating system on the computer. The hard drive is absolutely clean. It is an 80 gb drive.
A common option I found was going into the BIOS and changing the settings for the hard drive. Problem is, after checking every possible place in the BIOS, I cannot change (or find) the setting.
Any suggestions? And if you need any other info about the computer, let me know.
