I only use Firefox, I don't use any other programmes, is it possible to have my custom ubuntu become firefox, no desktop, no other programmes, just firefox, and a shutdown button.

Yes, quite easily. Obviously you'd need to pull firefox's dependencies and the very basics of a GUI but it could be done.

It's best to start with a minimal CD and then add firefox with apt and add a small window manager like awesome (I'm not used to WM so google around)

Hi, I have decided to use Gnome as it looks nice :D, this is what my install is running, gnome-core, gdm & firefox, is there anything i'm missing? thank you. :)
