Hi,

I have a x200 with XP installed.
I want to format, and install Ubuntu. can I have only Ubuntu installed?

How can I do it? where can I find the drivers of x200 for linux? I couldn't find it in lenovo's site.

I'd really appreciate your help.

Thank you in advance!

Yes, you can have only Ubuntu installed. If you have no personal data (or very unimportant personal data) on your XP, this is what I recommend. Most machines don't require drivers; Ubuntu should work with the x200 out-of-the-box; it did with my Dell 1501 and most other machines.

Best source of configuration info for thinkpads and Linux is the thinkwiki. Google for that and you'll find a page with links to LOTS of information.
