Installing flash (firefox)

Hey I just got ubuntu and i have been trying to get flash so I can watch vids on youtube. I download the .deb for ubuntu 8.04+ and when i try to install it, it says "Error: Wrong architecture 'i386' "

I am using a Dell vostro 1510 with intel dual core proccesor 2.4ghz t8300 and 9.04(jaunty) version of ubuntu

help please!
