Hi to all!

I'm using jaunty for a while, and I have found, that the kernel isn't updated, although the packages are downloaded, and they are cached.

The problem looks like this:

The Update Notifier says, that there are kernel updates. I install them.
Updates are installed, There are no error messages in the console (or I didn't see them).
After installing, Update Notifier doesn't prompt restart dialog. Manual restart, No new kernel in Grub menu. Log in to desktop, look in /boot, and there are no new kernel files, only 2.6.28-11, which is supplied with the system.

Is there a way to fix this? And while waiting for the next kernel update, is there a way to install the newest kernel from the cache?
