Intel Network card 82567LM-3 Gigabyte network card

Dear Community,

I have dell PC with Intel Network card 82567LM-3 Gigabyte network card. I have downloaded the e1000edriver for Linux and it is on my desktop in unzip form. Can you please advise me how to install it? I have Ubuntu Linux 8.04.

Finally I could install network on my PC. Ubuntu Rocks !!!

I had the same problem. My intel 82567LM-3 Gigabit NIC cannot be recognized by Ubuntu 8.04 during installation.

How did you do that? Thanks.
