Hey,

I saw tons of tutorials that show how to install beryl on other versions of ubuntu. But i want to install beryl on Ubuntu Desktop 9.04, 64 bit. I am using ATI Radeon HD 3200.
Please be specific on that.
By the way http://ubuntu.beryl-project.org is down

Thanks to anyone that helps.

Beryl is dead.

Compiz-Fusion replaced it in Ubuntu.

Compiz is installed by default and if you have a 3D capable video card is probably on by default.

Right click the desktop - top tab - visual effects

choose normal or extra

What kind of video do you have?

I have ATI HD Radeon (1 GB if that matters), and I can't find the visual effects tab.

...I can't find the visual effects tab.

I don't have that either. Applications > Add/Remove > Show: All Available Applications > Search: compiz > tic top box 'Advanced Desktop Effects Settings (ccsm) > click apply changes > apply > close.

You're welcome. To set settings: System > Preferences > CompizConfig Settings Manager
