install ubuntu studio after win xp for dual boot

hello everyone..

am totally new to ubuntu studio.. please ignore my ignorance..

here is my issue..

1. i have a PATA(IDE) hard drive set up as a master in which i have installed windows xp.

2. i have a SATA hard drive on the 2nd SATA controller(the 3rd used by a SATA DVD drive)

3. i wanna install ubuntu studio on the 2nd SATA hard drive without resizing the windows partition..

4. i wanna dual boot windows xp and ubuntu studio at the boot menu..

can anyone please give me a step by step method on how to do it..
