Hmm, could be interesting for KDE devs / users.
However, There are a lot more lightweight DE's, like JVM and LXDE ;)

Just because KDE is heavy on resources, doesn't mean QT is. Gnome is also quite resource-intensive, doesn't mean all DE's using GTK are.

Sounds promising, QT is quite a good framework, but I've never warmed much to any of the KDE iterations, given that I'm of a somewhat minimalist bent.
