I'm installing ubuntu 8.04.2 on an old PC mounting a diamond firegl2 graphic card. I've problem to make it works, live CD doesn't start and I can install ubuntu only with text based Installer. After installing obviously X doesn't start. Startx doesn't work, [(EE) VESA(0): No matching modes (EE) Screen(s) found, but none have a usable configuration)], looking at xorg.conf under section device there isn't a Driver Option. I tried installing "fglrx" and envyng -t but nothing works. Any suggestion tom make this graphic card work?

Someone might be able to help if you tell us a little bit more about your computer, e.g. make and model, how much memoery, etc.
