I like storm because of her African roots, looks, strength of character and elegance. Having great powers doesn't hurt either.
People tend to think of Africans as a warring starving race (at least that is the impression I get when I watch the news), but she represents all the other aspects that seldom see the spotlight.

i really liked Spawn so much because he was really different than the other plastic ***** superheroes. the guy wasn't %100 undefeatable, he had his energy (or hp if you would); and he was brutally killing the bad guys, not just pulling their ears and sending them to prison like the ***** spiderman

I can't believe I am the only person who voted for Spiderman in the poll so far!!! He is just the best - especially in the Secret Wars saga when he first gets " the black suit" and the whole symbiote, Lizardman, Venom, and the marrying MJ period from the 80's through to the Todd McFarlane transformation have to be some of the finest comic books and stories ever produced!! EDIT: Actually the Phantom has gone down hill since the death of Lee Falk. Personally I think the golden age of The Phantom was when Wilson McCoy was drawing it. (approx WW2 to 1960)
