Hey guys,

I'm still sitting here with Feisty and I want to upgrade to Jaunty. Because each upgrade must be direct from the previous release, I've first got to upgrade to Gutsy. When I run the update manager, I get this message:

"Could not find the release notes. The server may be overloaded."

It's been doing this for a couple days now. Are the release notes in the same place?

hope this (https://help.ubuntu.com/community/EOLUpgrades) helps

You may have your reasons and this is just a thought ....

For each version, you'll have to update prior to upgrading to the next version. That takes time all the way to Jaunty. Why not consder a fresh, clean install of jaunty thru the liveCD? That way, you can get to test Jaunty out first and see how it relates/reacts to your system specs' and hardware.

Just a thought :)

Good luck and do back-up.
