What are the best+cheapest 14.1 inch laptop with matte screen?


I'm a computer engineering student and looking for a replacement for my old laptop. As I mentioned I need something cheap, I don't want to waste a lot of money now. I want this laptop to use it while I'm in the university that's why I need it 14.1 inch. I would''t mind a dual core processor. I'll scarify some specifications just to save money, but I can't leave these specs:
1- 14 inch *matte* screen.
2- Not heavy.
3- Cheap- no more than $600

Any suggestions please?

Could look for those dual-core Atom processors, but I don't know if they're out yet. They would provide more "oomph" without draining the battery like mad! Price, though, is another matter.
