This picture was posted today at Failblog.org. I've seen this happen on other marquee-type displays at various businesses, etc. Enjoy :)

What's more worrying is...

Airbus A380

Yes they are running XP... I couldn't find the image I had with it on though, so this one'll have to do.

"This is your captain speaking. We are cleared for takeoff, however, we have to reboot the computers due to a fatal system crash...I mean, error." Geez!

Windows Xp is okay. Vista is an unstable/unusable pile of dogpoop.Have you guys tried Windows 7 yet. Performance-wise it's quite good. So is the new taskbar. Works well for me :)

A linux system is damn easy to break for a novice. Oh the hours I have tried to fix X without knowing much about commands and decided to take the lazy route and reinstall in the end. ):P

About 3 months ago, my system crashed (Ubuntu)
I was so surprised, I don't remember it ever happening before, except the Xorg messup years back with Ubuntu 6.06. Which was not even a real crash.

I thought my computer had died on me, but it booted up happily enough.
Probably a small power hickup (I don't use UPS).

XP is pretty solid, but Ubuntu is much more solid IMO.

Wow. So much bluescreen.

I remember not so long ago when the bank terminals were all running OS/2. Those were good days. The OS was rock-solid and fast. Then they "upgraded" to Windows. I was frustrated with how much the terminals had slowed down, and I've seen a lot more "OUT OF ORDER" signs posted on them.

Very frustrating.
