View Full Version : [ubuntu] Panel application tabs missing?

The Application tabs at the bottom of the desktop panel have disappeared. It seems to have happened after one of the recent automatic updates. If I minimise an application I can only get it back by using alt-tab. Plus, if I open multiple applications in one desktop I can't switch between them on the panel (but alt-tab works).

Is this a known problem with the upgrades - I've tried searching for it but can't find any reference?

Anyone know if there is a way to get them back?

Thanks,

right click, add panels, search/filter by "window"

Thanks Chris, I don't know why they disappeared - I'm sure I didn't click on 'remove from panel' but they are now back.

Glad to hear :) yeah the gnome panel can be a little "wonky" in my opinion. heck, everytime I reboot it puts the panel on the top of my screen when it was on the bottom
