one of the ubuntu servers may have gone down.

try this:

#1 attachment: system -> administration -> software sources

#2 attachment: download from -> other

#3 attachment: select best server.


this will scan all the ubuntu servers and see which ones are working and fastest from where you are at.

First, my brother, thank you for your help
