Hello to all . Is there any msn messeger better than amsn or pigin ?
Any ideas also for Yahoo messeger?

You can use aMSN or Pidgin.

They should work for both MSN and Yahoo.

They are both found in the Synaptic Package Manager.

EDIT: Sorry did not read the better than aMsn or Pidgin.

no video chat is possible...
and in amsn i do not get my offline messages.

Empathy and Kopete both allegedly support video chat. mileage may vary.

both in the repos. Empathy is all sorts of wave-of-the-future-talk-of-the-town.

skype for linux supports video chat, as well.

Seeing as they're all free try emesene or kopete. I know kopete supports webcam. It's a kde app so it needs a few kde libs to run thats all.

actually the latest developmental version of amsn does support offlinel messages:

Yeh Empathy is a pidgin+video support



sudo apt-get install empathy
