i had this problem when i first installed jaunty and found a thread that had a quick and easy at least that is how i remembered it, to get to a master sound control box that i had to unmute. well i got the great idea to try the windows7rc out, and it hijacked my system and i couldnt even get onto the internet to figure out what was wrong. well since i had become used to jaunty i decided to just do a fresh install, i had only used a small portion of my hard drive the first go around with it, and reclaim all of the hard drive this time, and not full with duel boot anything else. well i cant seem to remember where the quick fix to sound was located at, can some one help me out.
