We should hack the iPod Nano 2nd Gen. Firmware.

It has been over 3 years, yet the iPod Nano 2nd Gen Firmware is still unhackable. You can not put iPod Linux, Rockbox, etc. on it. As one of the many owners of the iPod nano 2G, I would really apreciate it if someone could hack it. I have tried numerous ways, like flashing the firmware with the 1st Gen firmware, but no luck.

I feel your pain, I have a 2nd gen iPod Nano as well.
I read somewhere that the problem was getting through Apple's encryption

I know! I want to be able to enjoy linux anywhere i go, but with such "amazing" encription, i guess it wont happen anytime soon.
