View Full Version : [ubuntu] Trouble installing from source...

OK, I went here...

https://launchpad.net/~moovida-packagers/+archive/ppa

and... ok, thats what I have so far.

I'm on Jaunty and I want to install Moovida. :(

Which link do I follow? Do I need all of those?

and once I get the tar.gz file, I don't know what to do.

I just tried a couple tutorials with no luck :(

You could just use the deb archive noted in your link, rather than the source archive, but perhaps there's a good reason for you using source. Add the first of the two lines in the box to your /etc/apt/sources.list file and then add the gpg key by following the instructions in the box that opens when you click on the "What's this?" link beside it.

Then you should be good to go with the .deb binaries, not needing the source tarballs.

yeh.......debs availabel there ....so y are u using SOURCE

Yes, it's amazing how lines can't be seen sometimes when you are looking too hard.
