Hi, I'm trying to run some cnc milling software on 8.04 but when I tried to install with the live cd disk from the EMC2 site I get something like:
udevd-event[1282]: run_program: '/sbin/modprobe' abnormal exit (I forgot the exact error code 1282 was just from memory)

I then decided to try 8.04.2 from the ubuntu site and hurray that worked, but the kernels different so I can't install the software I need. It said I needed: 2.6.24-16-rtai

What do I do?
