Hello I have a sansa fuze and E250 and they both worked great with windows. but since i have changed over to Ubuntu they will not transfer. Is there any possible way to get them to transfer?

curtis,
I also have a Fuze and have no problems moving mp3 files between Ubuntu and the Fuze. Does your Fuze create a desktop icon when you attach it? I use the Fuze mainly for free mp3's have not tried subscription services while using Ubuntu (like Rhapsody). Have not tried syncronizing mp3's between them either but the basics work for me.
Cheers,
Rusty

curtis,
Oops! I already had the mp3s on there from connecting to pc. I transferred several files from my ubuntu PC but come to find out they are .wav files and they work fine! So I am really having the same problem as you- will have to research- sorry for the mistake :0)
Cheers,
Rusty

You folks might be having a codec issue. I have a Fuze, and had some issue with mp3 and avi files in the past. What i was doing was using FFMPEG to encode .flv to .avi, then in windows i had to use the Sansa Software and encode the .avi in the right codec the Sansa Fuze could read. You might want to play around with the codec.
Just brainstorming with everyone.
thanks.
