View Full Version : [ubuntu] RAID 1 with Dual Boot Ubuntu/Windows

Howdy,

Is it possible to setup a RAID 1 solution with both Ubuntu 8.04 and Windows XP using the same two hard drives?

If so, how would one go about setting it up? My motherboard has a built in RAID card so I would assume I just install the two as I would normally with out any special modifications?

Yes. Check out this site: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/FakeRaidHowto

This is presuming your motherboard supports raid and you want access to common data drives from both OS's.
