Hallo

On my Laptop I had Intrepid running with OpenOffice 3.1. I upgraded the OpenOffice to the version 3.1 using the PPA Repositories as 3rd Pary Source in the Update Manager.

I have now upgraded to Jaunty and during the upgrade the 3rd Party Sources are disabled. After the successful upgrade I reactivated the 3rd Party Sources and ensured that the distribution was changed from Intrepid to Jaunty. The entry reads

deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/openoffice-pkgs/ppa/ubuntu jaunty main
Which according to the PPA Site is correct, the Authorization Key is also correctly installed.

After reactivating the 3rd Party Source, Update Manager lists a whole lot of OpenOffice entries and says that only a partial upgrade can be carried out. When I do this OpenOffice is de-installed, and I can't install the PPA 3.1 Version, I can only install the 3.0 Version out of the normal Ubuntu repositories. Update Manager reports that it cannot determine the distribution.

Under Hardy and Intrepid I had no problems keeping OpenOffice up to date using the PPA repositories.

Any one have an idea as to what has gone wrong and how to rectify the problem?
Thanks in advance.
