Last night I tried to install the flightgear flight sim by using the download_and_compile.sh http://brisa.homelinux.net/fgfs/download_and_compile.sh (here).

After running the script my computer will not boot into the login screen (is it called GDM?). If I choose recovery mode from grub it still launches into recovery mode and I can access a console. So I think I have narrowed it down to a graphics problem.

However, I don't know what could of broken from downloading and compiling a game. I tried to look at the script but I don't really understand it, can anyone offer any advice,

Thanks,
Ben.

PS, I have attached a copy of the script to this post.

EDIT: I forgot to say that I havce tried the auto fix x option to no avail.
