I've installed Ubuntu times before on this laptop and the Restricted Hardware Drivers tool, which scans your system and presents a list of options to get proprietary drivers for the system, has worked great on Ubuntu.
Now, I am trying Kubuntu and I found the Hardware drivers application, but it doesn't do anything. Nothing. nada. Click on Activation does nothing.
Is there a way to find out what that application was supposed to do so I can try and get my wireless working "manually"?
It was supposed to install the b43 drivers for my Broadcom wi-fi card.
