View Full Version : [ubuntu] boot xp from existing vhd

I currently have ubuntu 9.04 installed as a host, with an xp guest running in virtualbox (so that my wife can use itunes and the itunes store...). I'd like to switch to a dual boot setup.

Is it possible to boot from the xp vhd file directly like wubi does for ubuntu vhds, or is it possible to transfer the vhd to a dedicated partition like LVPM does for ubuntu? I've searched around on the forums a bit but I can only find information about doing this from an xp host. I'd rather not completely reinstall xp if I can help it.
