I'm making a folder to include with the Ubuntu boxes that I build/sell that includes info for beginners to use. I already am linking to the free .pdf of the Ubuntu pocket guide, and am going to be creating a .pdf of links to here, ubuntu.com, and a few other places. What else should I include?
I'll upload a .tar.gz archive once I'm done.

I'll upload a .tar.gz archive once I'm done.

If there new to Linux/Ububtu I don't think they will know what a .tar.gz is. I know when I first started Ubuntu I didn't know what it was or how to de archive it.

not what I'm saying. I'll upload a .tar.gz /here/ and include it as a /folder/ on the computers I sell.

Dont forget http://www.psychocats.net/ubuntu/ . That's the best tutorial collection available.

Thanks!
When I'm done, I'll most likely host this at drop.io at least to start, as I don't have my own website up and running yet.

Ubuntu guide provides a great list of short howtos that new users might find helpful.

When I put ubuntu on people's machines I include a little quick-start I wrote (sadly I don't have it with me right now) suggesting what software they need, what does what, how to install new software, how to fiddle with compiz, how to get docky and a few other important jobs, though I also tailor it to the user. It's very effective.

Okay, I'm putting together the links now, and I'll write up a quick start in a bit, anything else I should include?
